Amy & Colm’s 1920’s Inspired Mayo Wedding

I was thrilled to work with Amy and Colm designing their customised Floral Art Nouveau wedding stationery. When I first met Amy and she described her vision for their wedding day, I knew it was going to beautiful. Now I am delighted to share Amy and Colm’s wedding with you.  From the vintage decor to the fresh flowers, Amy’s stunning lace headpiece to the delicious recipee for love every little detail is perfection…

Colm’s parents are both from Connemara and we were both educated through Irish in North Dublin (where we met) so a large proportion of our ceremony was through Irish. We also included some little personal touches as Gaeilge on our confetti bags and invitations.”

“After lots of driving around the west of Ireland we arrived at Lisloughrey Lodge. The views were absolutely stunning over Lough Corrib but more importantly the atmosphere in the hotel was just so relaxed and beautiful. The lodge and accommodation were absolutely stunning and really suited our own individual style, I was instantly in love with it! Food was also really important to us and Lisloughrey was renowned for delicious food.”

“We wanted our day to be relaxed, fun and really enjoyable for our family and friends. Our wedding style was very feminine and romantic with hints of inspiration from the 1920’s to create an elegant vintage feel. The colours, textures, flowers and vintage props really helped to create our wedding experience.”

“I just wanted to take the time to thank you so much for our beautiful wedding invitations and stationary. I knew from the second that we met you at the Wedding & Honeymoon Show that we really wanted you to create our wedding stationary! Your letterpress designs were so unique, personal and of such beautiful quality that I knew we had to have you.

The stationary was one of the first things that we booked and created and set the tone for the rest of our wedding inspiration. I loved the fact that you had previously created bilingual stationary and how creative you were when it came to the designs and brining our ideas to life. We also loved all of the little added extras that you also had to offer like the gorgeous confetti bags, place names, seating and thank you cards.

What you delivered for us was beyond our expectations and our friends and family still comment on how unusual and beautiful our wedding invitation booklet and the entire stationary suite was. I will definitely be recommending you to all of my newly engaged friends!!”
