IKEA OPEN!

IKEA has finally opened in Dublin, about time! I didn’t brave a trip up today, it sounded crazy up there, probably great fun. I think I’ll head up in a couple of weeks, mid week early in the day, to check it out. I’ll let you know how I get on.

Myself and Alan travelled up to IKEA in Belfast to kit out my office a few months ago, it was a god send. The storage solutions are great everything has it’s place. The price of course is excellent and it was pretty easy to assemble, I only had to get help from Alan to put together a large shelving unit. Great for an office or studio.

I think IKEA furniture works best mixed in with other non IKEA pieces even antique or vintage pieces. I love the contrast of old and new. No doubt I’ll become very familiar with IKEA hopefully next summer when we come to furnishing our house. So much choice, I can’t wait!
