Today I’m delighted to be featuring a bi-lingual weddings stationery suite which I designed for Rebecca and Matteo’s wedding in the Italian countryside just outside Bologna. Rebecca and Matteo chose our Fly Away suite, save the date cards, invitation booklets, reply postcards and order of service booklets. The save the date cards and the invitation booklets were printed in English for the Irish guests and Italian for their Italian guests and the information included inside the booklets was relevant to each set of guests. I also printed the reply postcards in both languages.

Rebecca and Matteo chose rose pink and silver as their ink colours to compliment the very pretty colour scheme chosen for their wedding day…

"A Mythical Tune" Irish Wedding Traditions

As it’s St. Patrick’s week I have decided to take a trip down memory lane and share an inspiration shoot which I directed with Fly Away Bride this time last year. The shoot was inspired by Irish wedding traditions and beautifully captures that quintessential Irish magic and charm that is so famous around the world. I customised our Celtic Love Knot stationery suite for the shoot and also designed bespoke signage and расчет кондиционера в могилевской области labels..

I was delighted to design and print Suzanne and Fabien’s bilingual destination wedding stationery earlier this year. Suzanne and Fabien were married in June in Kefalonia, Greece and as Fabien is French and Suzanne is Irish they asked me to create bilingual stationery in their chosen design, Lovebirds

“I love letterpress so it was an absolute joy when Fabien and I spotted the Farrell and Chase stand at the wedding show in the RDS. The designs, the quality of the paper and the colour of the inks used on all of the Farrell and Chase range, in my opinion, just stood out. I was totally obsessed with Pamela’s work and leaving the stand that day I knew I would contact her to arrange getting my invitations produced. As my husband is French and I am Irish we wanted our invitations to be bi-lingual and after meeting with Pamela she showed me a number of ways we could make this possible. I chose the lovebird suite and as I wanted a very specific blue as part of my invitation Pamela was able to mix it perfectly and she recommended some other complementary colours to use alongside it. The process was totally painless and Pamela is a total professional. She even gave us a beautiful pen in the silver we had chosen to write the guests names on, now that was attention to detail. I received numerous compliments on my invitations once I had sent them out and was delighted that it wasn’t only me who loved them. Thank you so much Pamela for my wonderful интернет магазин кондиционеров в могилеве invitations I would highly recommend using Farrell and Chase to anyone. Now that the wedding is over I’ll have to come up with another excuse of an event to get some more!”

Congratulations Suzanne and Fabien!

Last year I had the pleasure of designing and letterpress printing Anri and Anthony’s destination wedding stationery for their 10.10.10 wedding. They chose our Fly Away wedding suite which we customised for their French inspired wedding in South Africa. Anri and Anthony both met and live in London but chose to host their very chic wedding in South Africa where Anri grew up.

The French inspiration came from their love of France, “it’s intoxicating.. Anthony has a beautiful little maison on the river in Limoges where we spent six months in the summer. I got to love the French countryside and its people as much as the bustling city life in Paris and it was easy to draw inspiration from this.” Using this inspiration they wanted to add that certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ to the style of their wedding stationery and throughout their wedding…

I was delighted to design and print save the date cards, invitations, RSVP postcards, menus, seating tags, gift boxes and thank you cards all inspired by vintage luggage tags, guide books and travel stamps.

“We wanted to thank you very much for the exceptional stationery you have produced for our wedding. It has been an absolute delight dealing with you and we are so pleased with the exquisite set which you have designed. It perfectly reflects all that is elegant and you have made for a fantastic experience and a very happy bride and groom! Our sincerest thanks.”

I have to say when Anri sent me the images from their wedding they really took my breath away, she is a stunningly beautiful bride and their wedding is so gorgeous! You can see their full wedding and an interview with Anri featured on Fly Away Bride.

Well they’ve been a while coming, the hardest customer to please is yourself, but myself and Alan finally sent out our wedding invitations. I designed the bespoke wedding stationery suite to set the tone for our Rome wedding this summer. Inspired by the romance and elegance of 1900’s to 19020’s style the Art Nouveau design features curved forms flowing from a stylised butterfly…

We chose to send our guests a flat invitation, a wedding booklet and and RSVP card. We wanted to use a muted subtle colour palette to create a romantic vintage feel and printed our stationery with a pewter ink and also blind embossed (printed with no ink). I selected an organic curvaceous striking font for our names which was contrasted with a sans serif minimal font.

I went searching for a stamp that would compliment our stationery suite, the An Post Wedding Stamp or 2010 just didn’t suit at all, so I looked through their website and came across their Stamp Issues section. As soon as I saw the Czeslaw Slania I knew it was perfect. The stamp depicts a scene from the ballet Romeo and Juliet, how fitting, and the colours of the etching were perfect!

We wanted to provide our guests with all the information they would need to book their flights, accommodation and to plan their trip to Rome. We included in the wedding booklet a map of Rome, information about our favourite sights, restaurants, cafes and bars. We wanted to share our love for Rome with our guests giving them a sense of why we chose Rome as our wedding destination.

It really is true once you’ve sent out your wedding invitations, everything does become very real, and very exciting!

We’ve had lots of great feedback from our guests complementing our wedding invitations, I can truly say that they have set the perfect first impression for our стоимость кондиционеров в витебской области wedding

I was delighted to design and print Elizabeth and Brian’s destination wedding stationery. Elizabeth and Brian are getting married next September in the beautiful town of Santa Maria di Castellabate in Italy. They wanted to supply their guests with information about the destination, travel and accommodation details and their wedding weekend itinerary…

realwedding_elizbrian01On meeting with them and discussing different options we decide to create a wedding booklet together with a detailed RSVP card. They loved our Chantilly Wedding Suite which we customised using antique gold and sapphire blue ink colours to reflect the sandy beaches and deep blue sea of the south of Italy. We also included two lovebirds throughout the suite, a charming and whimsical detail.

realwedding_elizbrian02The front cover of the booklet is the formal wedding invitation which is letterpress printed on luxurious 100% cotton paper and the inner pages are laser printed on matching laid paper. We decided to stitch bind the booklets with cotton thread to continue the use of quality materials throughout.

The RSVP card allows guests to reply to a pre wedding get together, the wedding and a beach bbq the day after the wedding. The envelopes are a beautiful antique gold colour complimenting the invitations. The RSVP envelopes are letterpress printed with the return address and the invitation envelopes are digitally printed with guests names and addresses.

Wedding booklets were a great solution for Elizabeth and Brian’s destination wedding. Their guests can easily access all the information they need and also bring the booklets with them for reference when they are enjoying their trip to Italy.

“We are getting married in Italy in September and wanted wedding invites to depict our wedding abroad. We used Farrell & Chase for our wedding invites and RSVP cards. Pamela was great to work with and no request was too big for her. The quality and style of the invites were excellent and our guests loved them. Thank you Pamela.” Elizabeth & Brian

We can customise any of our designs for destination weddings, creating wedding invitation booklets or separate wedding information booklets.
