THE WEDDING & HONEYMOON SHOW 2010

A big thank you to everyone who visited our stand at The Wedding & Honeymoon Show last weekend!

We had a fantastic show, it was very busy and there was a great buzz around our stand throughout the weekend. We were delighted with the turnout and the response to our letterpress wedding stationery collection and to our two new designs, Lovebirds and Cameo, both pictured below.

We were also very excited to launch our new, hot off the press, wedding totes! Our natural cotton tote bags are lovingly screen printed and have long handles, perfect for carrying over your shoulder. They can be custom printed and sent as wedding invitations or save the dates or simply used as welcome or thank you gifts for wedding guests. The possibilities are endless!

A big congratulations to the lucky winners of our Wedding & Honeymoon Show competition who all won a €100 Farrell & Chase wedding stationery gift voucher. I am delighted to announce that we will be returing to The Wedding & Honeymoon Show in the RDS, Saturday the 4th and Sunday the 5th of September 2010.

We will be displaying our full range of custom letterpress wedding stationery and previewing some new designs and exciting new products!

The Wedding & Honeymoon Show is a must for all couples planning their wedding, whether newly engaged or finalising details. Along with catwalk shows, there will be over 200 exhibitors, celebrity guests and much, much more. Everything you need to do before you say I do!

THE D4 BERKELEY WEDDING FAIR

A big thank you to everyone who visited our stand at The D4 Berkeley Wedding Fair last weekend!

We had a fantastic show with great interest in our new wedding invitation booklets, a great idea for couples getting married abroad or for couples who have allot of guests traveling to their wedding. There was a great buzz at the fair throughout the weekend and what amazing weather! A big congratulations to all the newly engaged couples who attended the show, I was admiring all your really stunning engagement rings.

I was delighted to meet Brendan Courtney, who hosted the event. The D4 Berkeley is a beautiful venue, my mother and father married there years ago when I was 10. Being at the show brought back allot of great memories. The venue is still as sophisticated and elegant as ever, with very friendly staff. The canapes and bubbly were delish! I’m very excited to find out the very lucky winners of the amazing 10K wedding at The D4 Berkeley this week.

There was a great selection of suppliers exhibiting at the fair and it was brilliant to meet everyone and put names to faces. Here’s a small selection of fellow suppliers who were on hand for couples to meet with over the weekend.

Ellie Balfe, wedding make up specialist, was showing off her skills doing the beautiful models make up from 1st Option Models. RosieDays displayed their very creative and beautiful floral displays, she very knidely let me take home one of her gorgeous bouquets which is now in a vase brightening up my office. Discount Designer brought some of their stunning collection of designer gowns for brides to try. FiFi Belle’s beautiful designer shoes were also on display for all to try, they specialise in larger size shoes, 6-11. Amazing Cakes had a wonderul display of mouth watering cakes, whith delicious samples for all to taste, which I did quite a bit over the weekend. Suzie Mahony, a very talented milliner was exhibiting her collection of headpieces for brides, mothers of the bride and wedding guests. The Finishing Touch we on hand to meet with couples to discuss their wedding plans, they spacialise in planning weddings, civil partnerships, blessings and events.

THE D4 BERKELEY WEDDING FAIR

I am delighted to announce that we are exhibiting at The D4 Berkeley Wedding Fair, Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd of May.

Hosting this stunning two day event will be Ireland’s Fashion Guru, Mr Brendan Courtney from RTE’s Off The Rails and he will be sharing his style secrets with all brides.

As part of the D4 celebrations, the D4 Berkeley Hotel are giving away The Wedding Reception to one lucky couple to the value of €10,000.00.  You must attend the wedding fair in order to be in with a chance to win this outstanding prize.

1^st Option Models will be producing three shows on the Saturday and  again three shows on the Sunday.  These six shows will also be hosted by Mr Courtney.

Frankly Buble will be joining us at the bridal shows and will be singing The Best  Michael Buble, with live vocals while international models grace the catwalk in stunning bridal gowns.

Finishing Touch, specialists in wedding planning and civil partnerships will be on hand offering advice and assistance, to all couples planning their wedding, based on their years of experience.

Finishing Touch are the first Irish wedding planner to embrace the gay community and at Farrell & Chase we are also delighted to design and print same sex commitment/wedding stationery.

This show will be a first for the wedding industry in Ireland and is a must for all couples planning their wedding.

THE WEDDING JOURNAL SHOW BELFAST

We were exhibiting at The Wedding Journal Show in Belfast at the weekend, our first time exhibiting at the show, and it was a great success. We travelled up to Belfast on Thursday to set up for the show opening on Friday afternoon. The show ran for three days and was the busiest we have ever attended and we had a great response!

A huge thank you for everyone who attended the show and dropped by our stand and of course to the organisers for such a great show.
