Breakfast at Tiffany’s

I was thrilled to collaborated with Christina Brosnan recently on her beautiful Breakfast at Tiffany’s Inspired Love Shoot. I am a huge fan of the film and when Christina explained her ideas for the shoot I knew the results would be brilliant. I designed and printed two signs for the shoot, one with a quote from the film and the other with the lyrics to ‘Moon River’…

FARRELL & CHASE LOVES DESTINATION WEDDINGS…

As most of you probably know myself and Alan are busy planning our wedding in Rome this Summer. I have been to a few destination weddings both in Italy and Spain and have to say, I love them! Everyone is so relaxed, the sun is shining (hopefully) and the celebration usually extends over a few days allowing you to spend time with friends and family you normally mightn’t get the chance to do so with.

I love seeing real destination wedding for inspiration and getting advice from brides who have planned their own destination weddings. So I thought it would be great if there was a dedicated space where fellow brides planning their dream destination weddings could come to find inspiration and advice and so, flyawaybride.com was born…

I was thrilled to launch Fly Away Bride on February 14th, yes Valentines day, and the feedback and reaction for everyone has been great! Fly Away Bride will feature only the most unique and gorgeous destination wedding related content, brilliantly talented vendors, real weddings full of style and great ideas and of course my personal experiences while planning my own wedding in Rome!

A VERY HAPPY VALENTINES NIGHT AT THE WOL AWARDS!

I attended the WeddingsOnline.ie Awards 2011, Ireland’s Top 100 Wedding Suppliers, last night with my Valentines dates for the evening, Christina from Brosnan Photographic and Aoife and Deirdres from The Bridal Lounge…

and I am thrilled to tell you that Farrell & Chase won the award for Stationery Designer of the Year! I’m so delighted to have won it really means allot to me.

I’m also delighted to congratulated the Aoife and Deirdre from The Bridal Lounge who won Best Wedding Supplier Website, Aoife Callaghan who won Bridal Make Up Artist of the Year and Christina from Brosnan Photographic who won not one but two awards, Wedding Photographer of the Year and the gold award for Overall Wedding Supplier of the Year!!!

To say we were all thrilled with our wins is an understatement. It was really great to celebrate with the girls, the drinks were flowing and we were giddy withe excitement.

Congratulations to White Orchid Bridal Boutique who won Best Bridal Boutique for the second year running!

THE HEADFORT ARMS HOTEL WEDDING FAIR

We were delighted to show our letterpress wedding stationery at The Headfort Arms Hotel Wedding Fair last weekend.

The fair was a great success and I had the opportunity to meet with so many brides and grooms and some great wedding suppliers one of which I really have to mention…

Knightsbridge Boutique were exhibiting their stunning designer bridal designer jewellery. The beautiful crystal pieces are perfect for bridal parties form the bride and  bridesmaids to the mother of the bride, the prices are really good too!

Thank you to Olivia and all the staff from The Headfort Arms Hotel for organising such a great event.

A big congratulations to the lucky winners of our competition who all won a €100 Farrell & Chase wedding stationery gift voucher. Without further ado, they are Sarah from Leitrim, Roisin from Navan, Adele from Slane, Emer from Athboy and Siun from Kells.

WINTER WONDERLAND

I was thrilled to be asked to join some very talented wedding suppliers in Kerry who were creating a beautiful Winter Wonderland wedding inspiration shoot in Ballyseede Castle. For the vintage-chic inspired winter wedding photo shoot, I supplied our Iceflake wedding stationery suite including hanging Iceflake wish tree cards…

The gorgeous flowers and floral table displays were created by Best of Buds Florists and the photography is by Tara Donoghue Photography.
